Hello, I'm Bodie Karlek, the founder of Heaps Autistic. I am autistic, have ADHD, and identify as non-binary. My journey through late diagnosis and autistic burnout has inspired me to create a space where neurodivergent individuals can find the support and understanding they need.

As an autistic peer mentor, I utilise innovative techniques such as video gaming and anime in my mentorship. I believe in a strength-based approach and the social model of disability, focusing on helping my clients discover their unique abilities and live fulfilling lives.

I have had a twenty year career as a paramedic, university lecturer and I am a qualified meditation teacher. I enjoy integrating these practices into my mentoring to provide a holistic approach to well-being. I also actively engage with the autistic, ADHD, and trans communities through social media, aiming to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
